Rent the Fairgrounds

The Altamont Fairgrounds is home to a greatmany Capital Region  Annual Events.   Attendees, Performers and Attractions  come from the greater Northeast Region and from the far parts of North America.

The Altamont Fair will be  held August 17-22, 2010. Labor Day weekend  the grounds host the Capital Region Scottish Games.      In the fall, Capital District Apple Fest celebrates our beautiful  foliage and apple season. Home to the WGNA Country Fest ,  over 25,000 county music fans enjoy the show at the foot of the beautiful Helderberg Mountains.

Events report attendances from 15,000 to 20,000 plus.

Beyond these large events, the grounds are great for large family picnics, corporate picnics,  festivals,  trade shows and outdoor competitions. We have indoor and outdoor facilities to ensure your event can be hosted rain or shine!
