Driver: Jim Tracey

Body: Special concept 3/4 scale flat-nosed school bus

Chassis: Custom design by Kirk Dabney (modifications by Jim Tracey)

Engine: 557 C.I. Ford Racing SVO built by A&C Racing Engines (big block, blown, fuel injected, runs on methanol)

Supercharger: 8:71 Blower Drive Service blower w/ K&N air filter and Enderle fuel injectors

Exhaust: Custom designed and built by Jim Tracey

Transmission: 3-speed Ford C6 built by Michael Vaters

Transfer Case: Profab 18" quick change drop down

Axles: Pettibone planetaries w/ Black Rock Fabrication housings

Tires: Goodyear Terra 66"x43"x25"

Rims: Custom designed and built

Shocks: 3" King Off-Road Racing Shocks with 26" of travel and 1" triple bypass tubing

Weight: about 10,000 pounds

TRUCK HISTORY

The new concept vehicle underwent a series of modifications and finally Higher Education was ready for competition. It made its first start in Monster Jam competition in 2011. Long-time Black Stallion crew chief James Tracey, who has worked on Vaters’ crew for over 15 years, was selected by the team to drive Higher Education at Monster Jam events.
