Scarecrow contest: Bring scarecrows to the Fairgrounds the weekend before the Fair . Judged on originality, durability and creative use of materials. Age classes and group class – check here!

Apple peeling contest occurs twice daily. Come try your skill at peeling the longest continuous strip of apple peel.  This is a FUN contest to test how long you can go. Apple peeling happens everyday in New York.  Show us how it is done!  We supply the peelers and apples. Thank you Altamont Orchards and Indian Ladder Farms!

FlashShots photo contest—pictures of your adventure at the Altamont Fair- a blast from the past.  Winners may be used in Altamont Fair advertising and will be displayed during the Fair.   See photos displayed at 2010 Fair
