The Altamont Fair is pleased to announce the Hollywood Circus is coming to the Altamont Fair!

The Hollywood Circus includes multiple acts. Come and see these exciting acts: Royal Friesian Stallions performing their precision steps, the Hollywood Globe Riders-two riders defying gravity, clowns, an aerial act, camels, dogs, and hula hoops. The show will be held under the big top with seats for everyone! More info coming soon!

Altamont Fair

The Altamont Fair is a three county fair representing Albany, Schenectady and Greene Counties. It is a non-profit, public educational and historical society supported entirely by admissions, rentals, contributions and the assistance of hundreds of volunteers.

As a historical and agricultural society, we are committed to the preservation of the old traditions, yet we strive to keep current with evolving trends and exhibits in order to attract new patrons.

Our emphasis will continue to be on agriculture. This becomes more difficult each year as we see the surrounding agricultural community shrink and give way to housing developments and industry. Our goal is to make the Altamont Fair the best that it can be in terms of entertainment, as an educational experience, and as a showcase for our history and agricultural traditions.
